My Approach
My approach to any campaign begins with listening. I interview stakeholders to understand their expertise and lived experience, research best practices and emerging trends, and collaborate across teams to shape a strategy that reflects both organizational goals and community needs. I use strength-based, respectful messaging that honors the audience and delivers clear value. From there, I build a consistent, visually aligned message set—supported by graphics, digital assets, and targeted outreach—and continuously evaluate results to refine and improve performance

Integrated Marketing Campaign: Patient Portal Signups +25%
I led a bilingual, multi-channel campaign at T.H.E. Health and Wellness Centers to increase Patient Portal adoption. I created all messaging and graphics—email, SMS, social media, in-clinic screens, posters, and video—and ensured instructions were culturally relevant and easy to follow. The six-month campaign raised signups by 25% and reduced administrative workload by shifting routine tasks to self-service digital tools.

Board Governance Handbook (FQHC) — Canva Design & Publication
I transformed dense board policies into a clear, engaging Governance Handbook by restructuring the content, editing for flow, and designing a clean, branded publication in Canva. I produced both digital and print-ready versions, resulting in a practical, visually organized resource now used for onboarding and ongoing board reference.
Executive Team Communications Support
I supported T.H.E.’s Executive Suite by producing polished presentations, branded templates, organizational charts, VIP acknowledgments, and curated gift packages. My work ensured consistent branding and seamless communication across Board meetings, leadership briefings, and external engagements.
Community Events
Child Car Seat Safety Check-Ups with Underserved Communities
I managed many aspects of T.H.E.’s community outreach events—including mobile vaccine clinics and Child Car Seat Safety Check-Up days—in partnership with L.A. County. I led planning, bilingual outreach, partnerships, logistics, budgets, and on-site coordination. The events served 300+ families, provided 80+ free car seats, and strengthened safety awareness among underserved parents.
Event Producer
50th Anniversary Celebration
For T.H.E.’s 50th Anniversary Luncheon, I coordinated all communications and event production, including VIP outreach, budget oversight, storytelling interviews, program development, speaker preparation, and photography. I successfully secured attendance from two U.S. Representatives and crafted a polished, high-profile celebration that strengthened community and donor relationships.
Virtual Panel Producer
At the height of the pandemic, I produced a virtual panel featuring T.H.E.’s women-of-color clinicians. I developed the content direction, prepared panelists, coordinated schedules, and partnered with the KJLH production team to create a session that addressed community health concerns with clarity, cultural relevance, and trust.
Public Relations and Earned Media
Charity Golf Tournament Coverage
As PR & Marketing Chair for the Special Olympics Los Angeles (SOLA) Lions Club, I lead all communications for our annual Charity Golf Tournament, which raises over $40,000 for local Special Olympics athletes. I manage media outreach, storytelling, branded materials, website content, and year-round digital presence—ensuring consistent, compelling communication that grows attendance and community support.
Writer and Interviewer
Judicial Profile: The Tough Love of Justice Kennard
I wrote a narrative profile of California Supreme Court Justice Joyce Kennard for Spotlight Magazine, blending research, interviews, and character-driven storytelling to illuminate the woman behind the judicial legacy. Through in-depth conversations and background study, I explored how her life story—marked by early hardship, grit, and remarkable discipline—informed her voice on the Court and her expectations of the young attorneys she mentored. My goal was to move beyond the public image of a formidable jurist and reveal the depth of her humanity, intellect, and unwavering belief in personal accountability.
The final piece presented a nuanced portrait that made complex legal themes accessible while retaining the emotional truth of her story. By weaving quotes, contextual details, and narrative pacing, I crafted a profile that balanced technical subject matter with a compelling human narrative, demonstrating my strengths in interviewing high-level professionals, creating narrative cohesion, and delivering publication-ready editorial work for both print and digital audiences.
